When I Think Of Research

When I first started this course it was very difficult to understand about what to do in the class. I was limited of knowing how to do research. In this course I gain knowledge of how to start a research and use the different methods to get a valid result of the research. This was a difficult course for me through my sickness I was able to do the assignment thinking that I know what I was doing. With the feedback from the instructor I started to understand better than I did at the beginning of the course. I gain knowledge that you cannot do research unless the participants agree with the consent to participate in the research. I also gain knowledge that if there is issues in doing the research how to address the issues by having concern for the participant wishes in not pressuring them to do a research if not willing to do so. In the course of reading I was able to gain knowledge about the time the research should be, do not pressure the participant by asking question that he or she is not willing to answer. I am sure that I would be able to conduct a research if I had to do one with the information that I have learn in this course. I have already did observation in the school where I work with the children that comes into the school that are not formular with different culture.

  1. Hi Sheila,

I agree with you that research can be difficult. I also learned a lot from this class and now I am starting to look at things in a different perspective. If I had to do a research I would now know the correct process to complete it. I hope to see you in future classes. Merry Christmas and Happy new Year! See you in future classes!

  2. I also agree with you and Sheila. I have learned so much from Dr. Myers and all of our fellow classmates. I now have a better understanding of the research process and knowledge of how to begin conducting good research and narrowing down my research topic and defining subtopics. I wish you a great holiday season and a wonderful new year. Good luck to you and I hope to hear from you in future courses!
